The product
SIREC antibacterial flooring combines all our traditional floorings’ mechanical and chemical resistance properties with great antibacterial power. The special additive based on natural elements renders it effective against a broad range of bacteria and fungi, including those most commonly occurring in food processing firms or brought into cleanrooms by employees, such as: Pseudonomas, Staphylococcus Aureous, Salmonella, Listeria, E. Colli, Aspergillus and B. Cereus.
Its effectiveness in preventing the growth of these bacteria has been certified by an independent laboratory in accordance with the ASTM E2180 direct inoculation protocol (issued by Japan’s JIS Z2801).
It provides 99.9% efficacy against bacterial growth.
